In the corner of bitter and sweet a girl with stars in her lungs and
galaxies in her eyes was found. She had nothing but flowers growing all over her, there were sparks underneath her skin. But the most beautiful thing about this girl was her heart, where a thousand fireflies
were flying around, nothing but fireworks dancing with its stars.
In the corner of bitter and sweet, I found a
girl with fairy wings, she was sitting by the sea. Reading the words of magic
universes and writing sweet words of melancholy. What did she find? That love and magic were all around,
In the corner of bitter and sweet, I found a
girl named Pauline. And a starry sky was nothing compare to her soul and
mind. Tell me you need the moon to light the darkness of your nights.
I’ll say you’re wrong, I’ll lead you to the corner of bitter and sweet and there
you’ll find her… The light you need.
In the corner of bitter and sweet I found a girl
walking while the sun was trying to wake up and the sky was crying, she was going straight to the sea. With a
blue and silver scarf around her neck, she writing poetry about the stars. The funny thing is she
didn’t realize she was writing about herself all this time.
In the corner of bitter and sweet, the wind of
the sea was howling, the wind of the sea was dancing with the girl I found
there. Where was she going? I didn’t really know. Perhaps she was on her way to
an adventure, or perhaps she was living an adventure through all the books and
the writings she had in her hands. But the girl in that corner wasn’t average at all, she was special, the girl I found there had a light, a light you and I
wish we had.
And I guess all I’ll have to do is keep
coming back to that corner that saw bitter and sweet whispers dance every
night. To keep visiting galaxies, I’ll keep coming back.
